EAST LEAKE ANGLING CLUB

The club was formed in 1996 and next year will be celebrating 10 years and hope that in some form of recognition to its members will be looking to purchase caps or fishing box stickers. There are at present 24 members including officers ie Chairman, Secretary, Treasurer, Match Secretary and Press Secretary.
Matches are fished between early May to late December and they include Rivers, Lakes, Canals and Carp ponds on alternate Sundays, sometimes with the volume of matches it can be two to three Sundays in a month, as regards to traveling areas covered are Derby, Leicester and Nottingham.

We are very fortunate that we are able to present so many trophies at our presentation evening, which is held in late November due to the generosity of many of our sponsors, who are to name but a few Dynamite Baits, Arksafe, Three Horseshoes and the John Richards Memorial Trophy.
Social evenings are held periodically and in July we were very pleased to have Mr. Martin Bowler to speak to us on his adventures and an audience of 50 people attended a most enjoyable evening also for our presentation evening this year Mr. Matt Hayes presented trophies to the members
