THE EAST LEAKE BOWLS CLUB

The Bowls Club has been established for over 30 years and caters for bowlers of all abilities.
The green is open every day from the end of April until early October when both league and friendly matches are played.

The club is always looking to recruit new members, whatever their level of skill and anyone interested can contact any member of the club committee for further details.

At the beginning of each season regular beginners' nights are held where anyone interested can have a go. Free tuition and equipment is available. Details of the dates and times are posted in Ivor's barber shop window or can be obtained from a committee member.

Over the past year the facilities have been considerably extended and improved. The club-house has been extended by a third and a new bar and kitchen installed with a much improved seating area. In addition the changing facilities have been almost doubled in size.
This year a new automatic watering system for the green is being installed and further improvements are planned.
