EAST LEAKE VILLAGE HALL

It is an independent charity managed by a small committee made up of Parish Council nominees and representatives of the regular users of the hall.

We are pleased to be able to report that the kitchen has now been totally refurbished and a new non-slip floor covering fitted.

The hall floor has also been refurbished and we can now see the beautiful maple floor that was hidden under 20 years of grime and old polish.

In Summer 2011 the toilets were fully refurbished, including new sanitary ware, sinks, automatic hand driers, lighting and incorporating automatic lights and time limited taps.

In October 2011 a new ramp access to the west wall fire exit was completed. making the building fully DDA complient.

The final phase of the planned refurbishment will be new carpeting in the area adjacent to the bar.

As can be seen from the above table, the Hall is very well used, but sessions are available:
Weekday Mornings 8.00am - 12noon and Wednesday afternoons from 12.30 to 15.30.
All day Saturdays - ideal venue for a Jumble Sale, charity auction, childrens party, club disco or fundraiser, commercial exhibitions and trade fairs
Sunday afternoon between 1330 and 1700 hours - ideal time for a childrens birthday party.
