Friends of Meadow Park invite you to join them for a free guided walk with an expert to look for and listen to the wild birds.
Saturday 11th May at 9:00 am. Meet at the sculpture by the Manor Farm Meadow park entrance. (The walk will take about two hours)
Charity Plant Sale at East Leake Village Hall on Wed 15th May 10:00-11:30 am. There will be free refreshments. All proceeds will go to the charity 'Caring for Life'

This month's Activity Day will mostly be spent clearing the north-west corner of Gibson's Field near the osier bed. We also want to remove some hawthorn branches which have been deposited in the brook - sawn up and piled on the northern bank, they will make a good "habitat stack". Meet at the depot behind the Parish Office at 9.50am. Newcomers are always welcome, but have to be members (for insurance purposes, and the minimum age is 16). No problem, you can join on the day - it costs just £3 for a year.
