Friends of Meadow Park
Activity Day - 10am till about 2pm if you can manage it, but just a two hour stint would be appreciated.
Hedge-laying in Bateman Field again; the quality of timber in this area makes it quite a hard task, so it's a slow business. We provide training and the specialist tools required, but tree loppers and maybe a saw might also be helpful. Volunteers to "learn on the job" very welcome - members only, but as ever, you can join on the day for £2, minimum age 18.
There will be a Weddings and Celebrations Fair 10.30-4.00pm at St Mary's Church.
This will cover all Celebrations e.g. Weddings, Christenings, Silver Weddings and Parties.
Exhibits include: Photography, Dresses, hats, cakes, cards, jewellery, sweets, beauty, hair, flowers, cars, plus all types of party ideas.
ALL YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT PLANNING A WEDDING OR OTHER SPECIAL CELEBRATION
There will also be:
Bell Ringing at 2 P.M
Organ and other recitals
Children's activities, including face painting and a magician.
