FRIENDS OF MEADOW PARK
Anyone over 18 who is keen to see the park grow as a safe haven for wildlife and a pleasant recreational area for humans can become a Friend. If you can offer special skills and take the lead on a tree-coppicing work party, for instance, or on a birdwatching walk, so much the better, but all we really need is a willingness to be involved. As a voluntary body, FMP can sometimes access funding that the Borough and Parish Councils are not eligible for, and so make improvements impossible otherwise.

Membership is presently about 90, and new faces would be very welcome. Please consider joining; it will only cost you £2 per year (minimum: many people feel able to give more). Secretary Debbie Slade can be contacted c/o the Parish Office, tel. 852217, or by e-mail at meadowpark@eastleake.net
