IMPORTANT NOTICE FROM THE PCC
St Giles' Church has stood as a beacon reassuring the people of the village of Costock of God's presence in their midst for several hundred years.

Over time the ravages of wind and rain have taken their toll on our beautiful church building as a result of which we need urgent repairs to be carried out to the roof. On the inside the lighting levels are too low and the electrical wiring no longer meets the current standards.

We therefore are seeking your assistance in raising the sum of £10,000. All monies raised will be used first in respect of these areas of repair and any excess will be applied to other items of maintenance e.g. redecoration.

The repairs to the roof need to be carried out before winter returns. Consequently the proceeds of the Harvest Supper will be used in boosting the fund and there will be various other fund raising activities in and around the village - look out for details.

All donations would be gladly received. St Giles' Church is YOUR church and needs your support if it is to remain available to you. Please contact any member of the PCC with your offers of financial support or of fund raising activities. And if you are a tax payer, please can you Gift Aid your donation. THANK YOU
