Site updated:December 4th 2008 SEE NEWS ITEMS AT THE BOTTOM OF THE PAGE Rector of St Mary's and the Benefice: Revd Glynis Hetherington, Churchwardens: Mrs Gill Richards & Mr Graham Brown The Benefice of St Mary's, East Leake is in the Diocese of Southwell and Nottingham and includes the parishes of Costock, Rempstone, Stanford on Soar and West Leake. The East Leake Benefice is part of the Cluster of South Nottinghamshire parishes, including the Gotham group of churches, and the parishes of Sutton Bonington and Normanton on Soar. The number of clergy is shrinking throughout the country, therefore because there are only 3 ministers to cover the 12 parishes, the Cluster is seeking new ways of supporting all of them in the future with the help of retired clergy, Readers and lay people.
