GRANTS FOR ST MARY’S HALL
A very generous donation of £2,000 was received from the Helen Jean Cope Charity for secondary glazing in the hall.
Later in the autumn, 2010, rainwater started coming through the ceiling elsewhere in the building and some urgent repairs were identified. This work will be funded by a grant of £4,215 from the Nottinghamshire Community Foundation from the Grass Roots Grant Programme.
St. Mary’s Hall, which is fully accessible for disabled people, is a valuable community facility and is used every day of the week during term time. The P.C.C is very grateful for the grant for the repairs which means that the hall can continue to function safely for community groups and private bookings.
For more information about the hall and to make bookings please contact Pat Brown (01509 820094).
